Alex Eberhard has been working as a professional musician for more than 30 years.

He started playing the guitar aged 13, being inspired by bands such as: The Beatles, Dire Straits and The Who. After 5 years of Classical Guitar studies and fronting his first school bands as a lead singer/guitarist he gravitated towards the drums. After his A levels, he studied Classical Percussion at Music University Graz, Austria, where he gained a Master Of Arts degree. What followed was another 4 years of Jazz Drums at the same university’s Jazz department.

In 2002 he moved to Sussex, UK, where he started teaching Drums at several schools, while managing to establish himself as a jazz drummer. Alex has worked with many of the UK’s finest Jazz musicians and has performed at London’s premier Jazz Clubs such as Ronnie Scott’s, 606 Jazz Club, Dean Street Pizza Express Jazz Club.

As a singer/guitarist he developed a solo programme dedicated to the songs of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart etc.

In 2013 he founded The All Things Must Pass Orchestra, a 10 piece band dedicated to the music of George Harrison. Each year this band of professional musicians performs a show at the Kenton Theatre in Henley-On-Thames, not far from Friar Park, the Harrison estate.

Alex plays around 300 performances each year and is highly regarded by his peers and the audience alike.
